1 Day of Summer

Last week was our last events with our school, our mass and final assembly, I was awarded Chemistry dux :) I officially graduated from high school Friday night, and feel like i've been thrust into no mans land, not yet 18 or in uni, but free from school. I don't have a clue what the next 3 months holds for me, hopefully it will be spent doing something productive and not spending it watching every movie that comes out.

I've been starting to decide what I want on my Christmas list, one of them is a bag similar to this Proenza Schouler PS1 satchel big enough to carry A4 sized folders and a laptop for next year but I've been looking with no success.

Country Road has one similar but it is too small and I'd like back straps on it :( Hopefully I can find one on my holiday. What's on everyone's Christmas wishlists so far?

Here is a photo from my last dress fitting, I was a bit unsure about where the dress hem should be but no one paid attention to the bottom of peoples' dresses anyway. Obviously it is not as puffy as the original or else I would struggle getting through the door. I'm going to get my mum to hem it up now so I can wear it as a cocktail dress :)

It's hot (with some Alexa Chung).

Spring seems to have skipped Adelaide this year, we've already had a heatwave and summer hasn't even started! But now I have finished all my exams and now have nothing but time until March :) My plans for the holidays are to:

Get my learner's permit
Replace my teeth retainer
Maybe get a job (not retail!)
Learn to sew
Replace my built in wardrobe doors with curtains

What are everyone's plans for the holidays?

Another girl crush of mine, Alexa Chung looks amazing in anything and styles all her clothes too well its insane. Not to mention she has gorgeous legs! D:

Hey all, just a quick post to make excuses for my absence. It really is the middle of exam panic and my official last week of school has already passed. I've already had 2 final exams, and tomorrow I have Chemistry and Specialist Maths on Friday, each worth half of my school grade and probably determines what I'll do in Uni :( I have decided on my graduation dress finally, similar to the one below but the black fabric will be princess satin with black tulle over the top and the lighter colour will be champagne/pale gold charmeuse satin with a yellowish tulle layer in the other photo, with the Mimco necklace I think I will wear with it. My mother is making this dress as well :)

I recently went to find out what was taking my passport long to process and and found it was because I was 'related to the guarantor'. The only indication they could have got from my application was from my last name, which is Vietnamese and starts with Ng... no it's probably not the one you're thinking of but the guarantor happened to have the same name anyway. What a hassle. Anyway, I received my passport a few days ago and is different to my first two: basically there is a page pointing out all the holograms/watermarks you have to have if you ever want to produce a decent counterfeit passport (though I don't know how long it's been there) and one of them is calle
d the 'Australian wave'. Hah.

Thanks for bearing with me, I am super stressing out but after Friday I hope to
be a regular blogger! Here's a snap from our Year 12 muck up day, nothing like some other schools where lawsuits and eggs are involved.
